The Bible have a constant theme running through the front to back and that theme is His mission, which is to take the message of Jesus Christ to the whole world...to every nation, every tribe and every tongue.
Also, the Bible makes clear that the way He is going to continue to bring His mission to completion is through the Church. Not buildings, but people. The Church, followers of Jesus, who are ordinary people, radically transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit to go to every person on the planet.
So Scripture makes clear the Church is not about just gathering together all the time, but the Church is to be about sending! We like to think of it this way...the Church is to be a "LAUNCHING PAD" into the world. That is, the Church, is a people from which people are "launched" into our city here in Mississauga, as well as all to nations over the world!
In keeping with Scripture the best we know, God has given us a DNA of being a "launching family," that is seeing people transformed, filled with the Holy Spirit and launched into our city and our world. Check out the stories below...

We are a family of faith that has experience a peace from God that is beyond our understanding and with that we have a desire to take God's peace to our city.

Jon & Cinthia Bunford -- The World Race

 Jon & Cinthia have only been married 3 years and they have found themselves right in the heart of missions from day one. The first two years of marriage they lived in Seoul, South Korea where they taught English and did an amazing job of displaying the greatness of God.
Earlier in 2010, they returned to Canada only for a short time to then be "launched" into The World Race. This is an 11 month mission journey to 11 different countries. In July of 2010, they departed for this year long mission.

Dave, Ruth & Kelly Hudson -- Bloomington, Indiana

 Dave, Ruth & Kelly have been an vital part of The Sanctuary Mississauga. Dave served as the Outreach Pastor and Ruth served as the Missions Coordinator. They are gifted in many ways at impacting people for the Kingdom of God.
They also served as the chaplain to the Toronto Argonauts and God used them in mighty ways to share the love of Christ to players and their families.
In July of 2010, Dave, Ruth & Kelly, moved to Bloomington, Indiana where they will serve. They have a heart to see college athletes discover the love of Jesus, to grow as followers and to impact the city where they live. They return to their alma-mater in Indiana University.
We are excited about what God is going to do through Dave, Ruth & Kelly as they impact student athletes and the city of Bloomington. Be praying with us as they serve there. |

Aubrey & Nishika Sequira -- Louisville, Kentucky

 Aubrey and Nishika, were launched on August 1st, 2010 to Louisville, Kentucky to attend seminary at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. The next couple of years will be great years of growth and learning as this newlywed grows together as a couple, as followers of Christ and as leaders in His Church.
Following graduation, we are praying with Aubrey and Nishika for clarity in where God will use them specifically to expand His Kingdom.
